What’s the difference between mentoring and coaching?
Great question!
Think of mentoring as counsel for your business. Coaching often focuses on specific goals or performance, while mentoring goes deeper — it blends guidance, insight, and lived experience. I don’t just hand you theory; I share tools, strategies, and real-world lessons from over a decade as a VA and business mentor, so you can confidently navigate your business and future.
What will we do during our sessions?
Each session is personalised. Together we’ll tackle barriers, roadblocks, and opportunities. From mindset breakthroughs and service clarity to pricing, marketing, and systems — nothing is off-limits. You’ll leave every session with clarity, action steps, and the reassurance of knowing you’re not doing this alone.
Are you qualified?
Yes! I hold formal qualifications in counselling (Hunter Institute of Mental Health, now Everymind) and bring 6+ years mentoring Virtual Assistants and small business owners. Add to that nearly 10 years as a client-facing VA (still active today), and you’ll have someone who truly gets it — both the highs and the hurdles.
What if I don’t know my niche yet?
That’s exactly what mentoring is for. We’ll explore your skills, values, and goals together until your niche feels clear and aligned.
Do I need to be an established VA to join?
No. This mentoring adapts to where you’re at. Whether you’re brand new, halfway in, or already running with clients, we’ll start from your current stage and move forward.
What happens if I miss a session?
Life happens! Sessions can be rescheduled with notice. And don’t forget — you’ll still have ongoing access to me (via email or messaging, depending on your tier), so support never stops.
How long are the packages?
The Foundation Edit and The Clarity Edit run for a minimum of 3 months.
The Signature Edit runs for a minimum of 6 months.
After the initial container, all packages can continue month-to-month - many of my clients choose to stay on because momentum, growth, and confidence keep building.
What if I’m nervous about the investment?
Totally normal - investing in yourself can feel scary. But here’s the truth: staying stuck costs you far more in time, missed opportunities, and undervaluing your skills. These packages are designed to give you clarity, confidence, and strategies that will pay you back many times over in clients, pricing, and peace of mind.
What if I don’t have much time?
That’s the beauty of this model. Sessions are fortnightly, and the focus is on giving you clarity and actions that make everything else easier. This isn’t about adding more to your plate - it’s about making sure what’s on your plate is aligned, strategic, and sustainable.
Will this actually work for me?
If you’re willing to show up with honesty, curiosity, and a willingness to take action - yes.
